On the International Shadow Day, which is today – February 13, fifteen students shadowed Olainfarm specialists.

Several “Shadows” got acquainted with the duties of the Deputy Head of Production Department, as well as found out about the day of the Head of Technical Department.

Students were keen to discover and see how the real chemistry laboratory work and what are the projects carried out by our IT department, as well as get an insight of what specialists do at Drug Registration Department.

Deputy Director of the Administrative Department Karīna Rāviņa-Vimba notes that thanks to the support of colleagues, this year Olainfarm is so actively involved in the Shadow Day. This is a great opportunity to see and appreciate the importance of specific professions required in the pharmaceutical industry and also give young people a chance to think about their future profession.

Shadow Day is a world-renowned and recognized Junior Achievement Career Education Program for schoolchildren of any age. This is a program that has been successfully integrating career issues into the educational process, encouraging young people to plan their future already at school.
